Daddy Jack’s Salsa is the product of decades of Jack Lee’s mastery in the kitchen.
In pursuit of perfection, Jack says he has refined the recipe at least 100 times since his first go at it in 1972. Friends and family began asking for his salsa, and Jack, a retired insurance agent, realized he was on to something.
In 1996, Jack and his wife, Bev, entered their salsa in the Fiery Food Show in Albuquerque, NM. Their mild salsa won first place in the medium to mild division!
Daddy Jack’s Salsa has been in Dillons stores for 17 years, debuting at the Wichita store at 13th and West streets.
Daddy Jack’s hot and mild salsas are manufactured by Garden Complements in Kansas City.
